We would like to help out the family of Sandi Mullies, who recently passed away due to complications from Lung Cancer, and celebrate the life of Jean Poe, a two time Breast Cancer survivor by hosting this benefit tournament. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Jimmy Mullies, a familiar face to all of us at the ball park, to help cover final expenses while he took time away from work to be with his mom in her final days.  Also, since October is Breast cancer month, we would like to make our yearly donation to the Pink Ribbon Fund at Alamance Regional Medical Center to help those women fighting the fight with expenses outside of normal medical costs not covered by insurance (i.e. a wig due to hair loss from Chemo, a taxi ride to the doctor, a sitter while they take their chemo treatment, etc.) in honor of my mom,  who is a 2-time Breast Cancer SURVIVOR!
